POSTPONEMENT OF APSC 2020
On behalf of the Executive Committee of Asia Pacific Stroke Organisation (APSO), may I take this chance to thank you all for the continuing support to APSO.
Due to the unforeseen circumstances surrounding the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-2019), we write to inform you that the Local Organizing Committee of Asia Pacific Stroke Conference (APSC) 2020, with support from the APSO Executive Committee, has decided to postpone the APSC 2020 to 7 - 9 December 2020, and the new venue will be in Busan, Korea.
Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused. This was an extremely difficult decision for the Committee to make and not one we made lightly. It was becoming increasingly challenging to proceed with warnings from Health Authorities regarding COVID-19 and also travel restrictions and advisories in place to Asian countries including Korea. Ultimately, our decision was made taking into consideration your health and safety first.
We understand that the change in dates will have disrupted your travel arrangements. For registered delegate or partner organisation of the scientific program, please contact the Local Organizing Committee at email@example.com for advise on refund policies, arrangements of registration fees and the re-scheduling of the scientific program.
Please stay tuned for the latest updates regarding the program and registration arrangements.
None of us could have anticipated the current turn of events - your patience and understanding is appreciated. We look forward to welcome all of you to APSC 2020.
Thank you and take care.
